Customer Review: very good phone
This phone is very user-friendly. There is a button on the side that must be pushed in order to enhance the volume so the user with normal hearing doesn’t get blasted with sound, but the hearing impaired user easily converts it by pushing the button. Good quality for a reasonable price.

Customer Review: Amplified corded phone
This phone adequate for hearing impaired such as myself, however, for ease of use and programing of regularly called numbers it could use some work. I was replacing a caller ID phone with this one only because i couldn’t hear the callers. It was a much easier phone to use.
Customer Review: Great phone, except…
This phone is more than loud enough, that’s for sure. It also has all the features you would expect, except for one whose absence renders the phone almost useless. I’m referring to a simple mute button. Let’s say you’re talking and you have to cough or clear your throat. No mute button, so you put your hand over the mouthpiece to muffle the sound. Well, if the boost is on (which is why you bought the phone in the first place), covering the mouthpiece results in immediate, ear-piercing feedback, which both you and the other party can hear. How could a phone that has all the bells and whistles be missing a mute button? How much would it have added to the price of the phone, $1?? So now I’m having to order a headset simply because it has a mute button. But guess what? The phone has a 2.5mm headset jack, which is typical for a cellular phone, but not a regular phone. So your choices for headsets are severely limited. The manual recommends the Plantronics M110, but that’s a monaural headset, not binaural, which I prefer. It’s also been discontinued. I just ordered a headset from amazon, but the ad strangely doesn’t specify a brand or model number. It does say it’s been discontinued, so it might be the M110. Either way, it’s ridiculous to have to do all this just to have a mute button. I wish I would have returned the phone and gotten a regular phone with a mute button and a good binaural headset, which would have allowed me to hear just as well as the boost feature.

Customer Review: BEWARE - DON’T ORDER !!!!!
You’ll have no trouble ordering, but their “customer service” is HORRIBLE. They deliberately drag things out, claim one thing and then the opposite, pass you to different representatives who then contradict what the other one told you, and they sometimes suddenly have trouble with English or typing, yet have no trouble at other times. They are very polite, yet totally ineffectual and unethical.
After reading Amazon reviews, I decided to cancel my order less than 1 hour after placing it. The first day, I wasted 3+ hours during 3 different “live chat sessions” with MagicJack’s customer service representatives, getting nowhere. They could process the order enough to gain pre-authorization from my credit card company (I checked), but couldn’t access the records to cancel my order and after wasting as much time as they could, would finally tell me to try again later. The next day, I tried again and STILL don’t know whether or not they cancelled my order. Here is the exact transcript of that half-hour interaction:

Customer Review: buyer beware
I ordered this product a week ago. And I have already been charged twice.
They advertise that the first 30 days are suppose to be on a free trial. And yesterday I spent an hour chatting with a technical person, who lied to me about the product.I tried to cancel, thats when I got charged a second time. I was told yesterday that the item I ordered still has not even been shipped. So I reported my card as lost hoping to recoupe the money the Scammers have already charged me. Even if the product was legit, I would not want to do buisness with a dishonest company.

I was having a hard time keeping my cord untangled. It was getting so twisted that I had to sit very close to the phone in order to talk. I even ended up breaking off the plastic piece because I tried to untangle it so many times! I finally found the Twisstop and it has made a world of difference. I have not had a tangle since I got it. I even bought a couple of extras for the other secretaries.

Customer Review: works great and doesn’t take up a lot of space
This is the 2nd Vonage router I have used. First was a Linksys, which was about 5-6x as large.
Haven’t had a bit of problems with this thing and I’ve used it daily for the last 3-4 years. Handles two lines.
I think I got this one for free when I signed up for Vonage, so you might want to check around to see if you can find a better deal.
I use this in conjunction with a Motorola Surfboard. No problems. Have used it with other modems, both DSL and cable. No problems. A great unit.

This is a great device! I use it at my home and then pack it up to travel sometimes,as I have a place in Mexico that has a wireless modem and router and I can plug it into that…. it does not work for hotels but all in all it is great and reliable. It works well with all phone systems, I use it on a Panasonic and a Motorola wirelss system with 4 recievers and they both work fine.

Customer Review: Love this phone
A lot of the newer phone models are very small with small buttons. I like the larger size of this phone and it is light in weight. The number pad is easy to read and it’s also easy to read the numbers on the screen as you dial. You can easily adjust the volume of the ringer with high tones and low tones and also adjust the volume on the handset. I have never had any static with this phone. I wanted to get another of these phones for the bedroom but currently Amazon is not selling them. Uniden says they are back ordered and there is currently a waiting list for these phones. They said the phones should be available again in April. Hopefully, Amazon will carry them again as well.
