Customer Review: not what i expected
I was looking for a good phone of good quality and with a readable caller ID screen. A cord was a must. This phone was rated well and is made by a reputable phone manufacturer. Well, the phone is nice, the buttons large and the voice quality is the best that I have ever had. How could a phone this good not have an answering machine??? I would have to subscribe to my cable company’s voice mail service at $3.95 a month!! Over time, this would be an investment. So, the phone will be going back. What a shame because this was almost the most perfect phone that I have ever found.

The phone is good. I love the trimline style and the off-white color. However, on the left side of the phone, the words “classic favorite” are printed in black. (The side that’s not shown in the photo.) I think it looks tacky and is very unnecessary.

Ordered from Chumbadeals for a Christmas present on 7 Dec when it was labeled as “in stock ships immediately.” On 19 Dec. amazon.com let me know that the order had not even been confirmed by the vendor and that I should contact the company directly. I did. This was their reply:

Beware, per Panasonic’s website, this is a ONE line phone. Still, I own several Panasonic cordless phones and they are quite simply THE BEST there is. After spending years with other brands, Panasonic definitely won me over and continues to do so.

I have one on each of my three phones, and I hate using a phone that doesn’t have one! Very comfortable, and they hold up for years. The oldest one I have is decades old and just as comfortable as the newest one; I have yet to wear one out. Don’t know how good the newer SofTalk II is; I’ve always been so happy with the original article, I go out of my way to find it.

I have purchased one of these in the past and enjoyed it. This one, however, did not fit the back of my phone, it was too long. Also, the sticky tape on the phone rest was not centered. If you can get one to fit the length of your phone, they are wonderful.

Customer Review: Great Telephone for the the money
This is a good quality phone for the money. I purchase because I needed a a basic phone with Caller ID. The phone is easy to use, not complicated as far as setting up and is very portable with the added clip. The viewing box for the caller ID is large and the number easily readable. Just don’t cradle the phone between your shoulder and ear because the location of the off button makes it easy to disconnect you from your caller. A great for the money.
